Getting the cart to Andalusia

The drive runs north through Molino, Flomaton and Brewton, and it takes the same time in January as in July. Nothing about an Andalusia date depends on beach traffic, which is an advantage over every coastal page on this site.

An eight o'clock start means leaving Pensacola before five, and we do that rather than put a hotel on your invoice. Four to six weeks of notice is comfortable for a weekday. Saturdays in fall compete with the coast, so ask earlier.

Fall in Covington County belongs to football and hunting season, and weekends tighten with it. The holidays are the busiest stretch, with downtown Christmas events and church programs stacked into a few weeks. Summer is quiet.

Plainly: this is a small market, and at most events up here the cart is the only one in the room. That is usually the point. Downtown and the court square. Older buildings mean older wiring and street-side load-in. Tell us how far the cart travels from where we can legally park and whether that route has steps. For an event out on the square, assume no outlet at the service point and plan the power at booking.

Civic and municipal spaces. The Covington Center, school gyms and cafeterias, and city facilities all work and usually have loading access. Municipal bookings often route through a facility manager who wants a certificate of insurance, so start that early.

Do you really drive to Andalusia from Pensacola?

Yes, for booked events. It is an hour and forty-five minutes each way on US-29, which we handle as a long day trip rather than an overnight. Andalusia is not our home market and we do not claim otherwise.

Can you serve at a church event on a Sunday morning?

Yes, and it is one of the more common ways the cart gets booked in Covington County. One barista pours sixty to seventy-five drinks an hour, so send the service window and the head count and we will tell you if one cart covers it.

Would a local caterer be cheaper than bringing the cart up?

On cost alone, an urn of drip coffee from a local caterer beats us every time, and there are events where that is the right call. An espresso bar is a different thing: drinks made to order, from coffee we roasted in Pensacola for that date.
