This Guji is a custom-crafted decaf born from a variety of Ethiopian lots, hand-selected to retain their character even after decaffeination. Processed by Swiss Water in Vancouver, this blend is 2/3 dry process coffees from Ethiopia’s Guji Zone, with a splash of Sidama, and features familiar names like Gerba Doku and Harsu Wokilo—stations known for producing fruity, vibrant profiles.

What makes this decaf exceptional is that it doesn’t taste like a compromise. By choosing coffees with bold, fruit-forward flavors that endure the decaffeination process. The Swiss Water Process removes 99.9% of the caffeine without chemicals, preserving the complex aromatic structure that makes these coffees sing.

This decaf delivers honeyed stone fruit, hints of tropical fruit, and a gentle floral lift. The wet aroma builds with notes of molasses, dried fruit, and warming spice—think spiced fruit cake. As the coffee cools, flavors of peach, nectarine, and persimmon emerge, framed by clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of chai.
