Who buys wholesale coffee in Panama City

Panama City is the working city behind the beach, and its demand is weekday-shaped. Downtown along Harrison Avenue has come back since the hurricane with new cafes, restaurants and offices, and St. Andrews has its own cluster of restaurants along the marina. The hospitals and medical offices are the largest office population in the county after Tyndall, itself rebuilt, and the port brings shift-work break rooms. The churches held the city together in 2018 and still fill on Sunday. Most accounts here are an office, hospital department or contractor, a restaurant downtown or in St. Andrews, or a church serving a lobby crowd.

Running a coffee program in Panama City

Unlike the beach next door, Panama City proper doesn't swing with the summer, so a base quantity on the Wednesday cadence rarely moves. What changes is that the city is still rebuilding: a block that had two businesses last year has five this year, so we ask accounts to tell us when the headcount steps up. And a business that learned in 2018 to keep a week of supply on hand is right to; a September buffer order is a single-week change. A distributor's case was roasted weeks before it was picked; ours was roasted the week it left.
