General wedding-power guidance is more honest about this, mostly because it isn't selling coffee. That's the point in one line: a made-to-order espresso bar gets grouped with a chafing dish, because from across the lawn they look like the same problem. They aren't.

What to look at when you stand where the cart will stand

Do this on the walkthrough, with the site plan in hand. Stand in the spot where the cart has to be for the event to work, which is usually in the reception flow and well away from the ceremony. It needs fuel, a level spot, and often written permission. Move the cart to the power instead of the power to the cart. Cheaper than everything else here, and almost always overlooked. Or change the format. At some sites the honest answer is that a staffed bar belongs at the reception building rather than the ceremony site, and splitting the day that way makes a better wedding than routing a generator toward the vows.
